Lucid is a whiteboard application with two sub-applications named LucidChart and LucidSpark. LucidChart is a presentation tool that can be used to create e.g. charts and diagrams (like Diagrams.net) while LucidSpark is more of a tool for virtual brainstorming and ideation (like Miro).

You can access the app in your browser by going to https://lucid.app but in order to access the education license, you have to activate it in Canvas. Please find "Lucid (Whiteboard)" page in any Canvas course.

1. Make sure your browser allows cookies in Canvas. If you get the following notification when opening Lucid (Whiteboard) tab, press "Allow Cookies".

2. Next, Lucid wants to connect your Canvas account to Lucid. Press "Get Started."

3. To create new Lucid account, press "Sign Up". This will start the process of creating Lucid account to your Laurea e-mail.

4. Lucid asks for a few permissions to your Laurea account. Press "Grant Access".

5. You should now be able to use Lucid in all Canvas courses and in the browser app at https://lucid.app
