Email confirmation for those who have started studying at the beginning of and after June 2022. Email confirmation for older accounts is automatic.

Please check to see if your email address is confirmed by clicking on Account > Settings in the upper left corner of Canvas.

Check if you can see a checkmark on the right side of you email address (marked with read in the picture below)

- If there is a checkmark, click it and your email is confirmed

2. If you cannot see a checkmark

- Add another email to your account (your personal email or a test email, for example testi@laureatesti.fi) -> the checkmark should appear

- Click the checkmark and your email is confirmed

Check the profile again to make sure that the exclamation point and the checkmark have disappeared. That's when the confirmation is successful. You can delete the email you just added if you like. Laurea's email needs to remain in the account.
